I see AdAware, but i don’t see SpyBot Search & Destroy, is there a reason not to list them in the links you provide?

If spy bot search and destroy is not listed, it’s not by design. Spy bot is an excellent program, is free and does a great job!
I use Windows defender because it’s a Windows program, has their support and does a great job for me.
Windows Defender or Spy Bot Search & Destroy will do the job and both are great programs.
Will ZoneAlarm’s antispyware protect as well as the Spybot?
I have not used ZoneAlarm’s antispyware yet, but I would image with an entire company behind it, it would do well. Spybot has been around for a long time and they know all the in’s and out’s, and because they are free, there is going to be more people chiming in when new stuff comes out.
I’m guessing that spy bot search and destroy would be the better of the two – but running with any one of them is great protection.
