I am trying to establish what priority to set for each page I have on my site. The site is an online shop and is made up of two main page types.
These are Product List Pages, where users just click the View button to view more info on the product.
And Product View page.
At present I am setting the Product list pages to 0.9 and the product view pages to 0.5.
Oh and not forgetting the homepage which is set as 1.0.
Is this OK?

Hey Slick,
That should work fine, no problem.
If you have the time, check out your log files, find out what pages are getting the most traffic and rank your pages based on that. Perhaps place them somewhere between .5 and .8
I always worry about setting a page that Google feels is high priority, but I consider low priority, too low.
