Default Sitemaps and PDFs

I typed in my URL, and it quickly ran through my small site. When I do a Save Sitemap (html), it does not output any of the PDF files that were spidered. Those PDFs do show up in any of the other Save Sitemap formats, such as delimited file. Anything obvious that I'm missing?

Can you send me your website address - use a private message if need be.

Thanks and welcome to the forum!

Hello Jim,
Thank you for your support. Sitemap generator is a terrific tool!

Let's use http://www.pinebush.com/products/hyperplot
as an example.

So, if you go to that web page, on the top of the right hand navigation, you will see two links to PDF marketing brochures.

If I generate the sitemap html, then I don't get the PDFs listed.

If I generate the sitemap_urls (txt), then the PDFs are listed. So I know its crawling them, and sees them.

Perhaps my expectations are incorrect, in thinking that the PDFs would show up in the html sitemap.

Best regards,

George

Default HTML sitemap with PDF's.

Hello George,

I confirmed that PDF files are not added to the HTML sitemap. I'll look into this and perhaps add it in the next release or two.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for your time!

Best regards,

Jim.

Default New Release of Sitemap

Hi George,

I try to accumulate a number of bugs or enhancement requests before I do a new release of the sitemap, so it probably won't be for a few weeks at least. So much to do, so little time

Best regards,

Jim.
