I finally got the CRM running (after changing some code). And I want to know this:
Is there a way that the Administrator is the ONLYperson who can chage the profiles. I get the feeling that every user can just change his profile/password,… of every user. I just change the level of a normal user to the one of and admin…. is this correct? If so, where do I change the option so that only n Admin can change it?

Althought the program is simple, the first stone is done. And if the company where I work like to use it and amlify it, I am very pleased to send my modificacions (especially using SQl server 2003 instead of Acces) to this websit so anybody can use.

I found out that in in the file inc/chklogged.asp, line 11 has the next data
<td width='12%' align='center'><a href='/user/useredt.asp?uid="&Session("userid")&"'><b>Edit Profile</b></a></td>Which should be removed in order that when a normal user conect he/she can not change his profile.
Ok, this is working now….. later on I will add some GFX charts to the program. For example seeing how many time a person calls a client a month. And also I will add a section where each user can add sales of his. This is very usefull for marketing strategy.
P.S.: What I do notice is that this forum is a bit "dead". I see posts of weeks ago. Nobody responses to my questions….. If I will change the program to make it better I would like to see more "action" out here…. So people,…. ask question, help eachother…..
P.S.: remember, I only will do the changes if the company aproves using this basic CRM….
