I get the following error after submitting an XML formated site map using the webmaster tool:
Unsupported file format
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.
Any pointers on how to clear this up?

I tried submitting a ‘XML Site Map’ instead of a ‘Google Site Map’ to Google. I generated a Google format XML file, uploaded it, and it worked perfectly. Your program is awesome!
I exported the map, and uploaded it. Here is the URL:
www.juicegallery.com/sitemap.xml
I get this error:
General HTTP error: 404 not found
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.
Thanks in advance for your help and what appears to be a killer app.
I see this post is more than a week old – still having the same problem with this sitemap file?
