I’m a newbie. My question is this: I think my Ip address has been blocked from visiting a public website [ www.royal-orleans.com ], and I wondered if there was a way to unblock it? Every time I type in the address I am redirected to this site: This is the screen I am getting when I type in the url: http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/3554/fedoranu8.jpg
I am also getting this: Just tried it again and this is what I got: http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/5623/forbiddenmk7.jpg
I CAN access the website via other computers so that is why I think it is blocking my IP on the computer I’m using now.

When you say that you can access the site from other computers, you are referring to computers outside your home network, correct?
The site worked for me, so yes, they could be blocking your IP address. If you are using a router at home (a wireless ub, etc), you can change the mac address and you’ll get a new IP address (most likely).
A MAC address is going to be something like:
00-11-22-33-44-55 – just pick one of the numbers, add 1 to it and save it out. For example, if the mac address of my router was that above, I could make it:
00-12-22-33-44-55 and that should be enough for my ISP to assign me a new IP.
Once you change the mac, unplug your wireless router, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
The question you have to ask yourself is: why are they blocking your IP address?
