I’m using IE 7 and I have set "scripting for Java applets" for Prompt. My index.html page redirects to an index.cfm page so I’m also including that in the URL path. But every time I try to generate a site map and save to file, all I get in the file is the HTML script for the index.cfm page.
What’s going wrong?

Try this: Enter your site /index.cfm and see what happens.

Here’s what I’m entering:
ht tp: //[mysite_root]/index.cfm
Are you saying I should just try it without the ht tp: //[mysite_root] ?
I’m saying to try this:
ht tp: //[your domain name]/index.cfm
rather than entering
ht tp: //[your domain name]
Let me know what happens.

ht tp: //[mysitedomain]/index.cfm is what I’ve been trying all along. That’s the path that returns the HTML script for the index.cfm page instead of generating a sitemap.
Right click on AMPC and send me a private message with your website address and I’ll take a look. I can solve this in a snap if I see the site.

OK,
I just ran the sitemap generator and under the Settings tab, I entered the following URL:
ht tp: //[sub domain].[domain]/index.cfm
It started crawling the site and plugging away. Try that and let me know.
