i’ve used the sitemap generator numerous times, successfully, for over 6 months, typically weekly.
for 2 days now when i try to use it – all i get is a red x – and nothing.
to be sure i updated java – and tried again – still nothing, just a red x.

The sitemap generator is working fine so it must be on your end.
Have you tried it in IE or if you are using IE, try it in Firefox.
Let me know what happens.

Jim.
hmmmm seems to work for my in firefox – was working in ie – i did have to reinstall ie recently due to a screwup – so besides installing java why else might it not work in ie?
Good question – In the Tools section of IE, there are some settings and perhaps IE is not using SUN’s Java (I think there is a check box there somewhere).
Other than that, no idea’s come to mind at present.

Jim.

It works for me in both but I’ll start doing some testing on other machines and see If I can duplicated your problem. Can you give me information about your setup?

Jim.
