Just a beginner doin a bit of experimenting at the mo.
I got this old looking site from megaweath pages just to get the feel of adsense really. Its been on-line for about a month and to help it along i was trying to submit a sitemap to google ? google are reporting errors? i tried your site mapping tool which reported "Bad HTTP response codes" to all of my sub pages? any help would be much appreciated.

Update: the problem with missing forward slash has been corrected, so those 404 errors should not appear again under these conditions.

Hi Jim, Just tried the sitemapping tool again.. works great on the first directory but i’m getting a "301 Moved Permanently" error on all of the others? I revised all of the pages at the weekend to get rid of those –> characters, could this be a clue? don’t know what else to try.

I ran the site, not the whole thing, just first few hundred pages and didn’t see any 301 errors?
