What Percent of the Time Do You make online purchases of consumer merchandise as a consumer (not as an employee while working) where the lighting above you and the computer is florescent lighting? A lot of dark colors, like burgandy, are almost invisible under florescent lighting, so why not avoid dark colors when writing a website, but how many people make consumer purchases at work or in school anyway? Alot of visually intersting designs have dark rich colors that can only be viewed in normal incadescent (tungsten filament) lighting. It's hard to stand out with a white background when everyone has a white background. Member: per cent Actual 0%
