Default www.portforward.com

Hey, I was just wondering if www.portforwarding.com seems like a legit site? I am asking this because I was on their site and entered in my ip address, and subnet mask, and was wondering if they could now use this information to track my computer (websites visited, keystrokes, etc.)? What do you think?

Default Portforward.com

The site is portforward.com and it appears to be a safe site and was created on 25-Aug-03.

The site offers documentation on port forwarding and having your IP address, internal or external, will not allow them to track you (except perhaps on their site).

I would not worry about the site - whoever owns it goes to a lot of trouble to have docs made for port forwarding (and a good job as well) - I doubt they would mess that up trying to track users.

It's good that you are cautious though! You can never be too safe!

Best regards,

Jim.
