Hello Michael,
Welcome to the forum!
I just sent your a private message with the information you’ll need to use the new webmaster tool. This will generate any type of sitemap you need.
This should also fix any errors.
Let us know if you need any help.
Don’t forget to get on this list – > Security Information, you’ll need a password to access this next week. If you are on the list, you’ll receive one when I make the change.
Regards,
Jim.
Thx Jim, but i have received no private message from you yet. What is a bit confusing to me is that the errors i got come from the Webmaster tool (not the new beta). I then went back yesterday to the old sitemap tool and now the sitemap was accepted from Googel without errrors …
The invalid date error has to do with time zones. When you create your sitemap, and your server is in a different location than the computer you are working on. This can sometimes result in you submitting a sitemap that says files are in the future and Google just can
Thx for the pm. I just want to let you know that i don’T think imagine that the time zone wld be different from my pc and the server. Both the hoster / server and my pc are located in the geografical area. Anyway as the sitemap generated by the old sitemap tol was accepted, i’m in no pain right nw. I wil try out the recommend new tool, to se what will happen …
Regards
Michael
The problem is that the Webmaster-tool does not code correctly the ampersand in the URLs.
<loc>erpscout.com/show_cat.php?cat_id=1&page=2</loc>
SHOULD BE CODED
<loc>erpscout.com/show_cat.php?cat_id=1&page=2</loc>
Can you correct this bug?
Able is correct – it’s the &. I am working on this and will have a fix soon.
Sorry about the confusion and thanks for the post!
Regards,
Jim.
Just an update – The bug has been fixed and the sitemap now formats the & correctly.
You should not have any more problems with Google verifying your sitemap.
Regards,
Jim.
Good job. Thanks.
Your webmaster-tool is great.
Best Regards
Alberto
