Question Domains

Jim,
Quick question about domains. I own a bunch of domains.

goodwillnetwork.com tracksidebuzz.com luxuriesnetwork.com globalwarmingnetwork.com
networkchocolate.com rawmaterialsnetwork.com *co2network.com correctinformation.com
commerciallinesnetwork.com componentsnetwork.com preciousmetalsnetwork.com
preciousmetalnetwork.com commercialconstructionnetwork.com fixedratenetwork.com
getafixedrateloan.com greatfixedrateloan.com greatfixedrateloans.com likeableloans.com
likableloans.com myfixedrateloan.com sandlnetwork.com sameascashloan.com sameascashloans.com sameascashloans.net sameascashloan.net savingsandloannetwork.com
savingsandloansnetwork.com

and placed them on Sedo, but none sold. 'You think I should hold on to them at $6 a year for each?

Roger

Default Selling sites duplicate content

First thing I would do, right this minute, is remove the redirects before Google finds them. Right now, getafixedrateloan.com/ has the exact same content as actualcures.com. Goggle will penalize one and chances are that they will choose getafixedrateloan.com, but why take the chance.

You know one of the reasons why Google will choose the right one? Because you using absolute url's. When Google visits getafixedrateloan.com and follows your diabetes link, they will be taken to actualcures.com/diabetes.html rather than getafixedrateloan.com/diabetes.html. If you didn't use absolute urls, then getafixedrateloan.com would be an exact duplicate of your cures site page for page.

I see your server is responding to requests for http://getafixedrateloan.com/ with a HTTP Status Code: HTTP/1.1 200 OK. You don't want that - instead, create a one page site for each domain / or, just park them.

I didn't check all the domain names, just a few and noticed that they also have a duplicate copy of the cures content. I know, it's not a duplicate, you just told your server to send it to the same spot at the cures, but to Google and others, it is without question, a duplicate.

As for selling the domains, I'm guessing that they are going to expire soon (didn't look), so you may not have enough time, but I would have a one page site talking about your domain and ideas of what it could be used for - and make sure the site appears in the search engines. From this point forward, if you take the time to buy a domain, take the time to make a one page site - you'll be glad you did later

This way, when it comes time to sell, or develop, you have a site that has been recognized by search engines. From a selling standpoint, that may help. From the development side, your content (when you decide to expand the site) will get indexed faster.

Hope that helps

Regards,

Jim.

Default One Page Per Domain

Jim,
That does help. I'll shut them off.

Thanks,

Roger
