Hello!
I make my test on yours site and as I read before your java aplet found my private IP. I have one external firewall and obviously I´m worried.
Can you help me to prevent this situation.
Could I set firewall settings or any software for prevent this situation.
I try use anonymous firewall, they works in fake external ips, but the aplet found the internal correct IP.
I´m studing network administration, and this is the first time I found something like that applet.
Maybe you could help me to learn something more about network security, and tell me to prevent this situation.

The whole purpose of the test is to point out that a applet can run, unsigned and without permission on basic configurations. You can prevent this be setting your browser to prompt before running such applets.
What type of browser do you have? What is your configuration (Windows, Firefox, IE, etc?).

I use both I.Explorer and Firefox 2.

In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level, and scroll to the bottom of settings – now move up and look for Scripting of Java Applets. Set that to prompt.
As for Firefox, I am not sure, but think you need to disable it. Perhaps there is a similar setting? If you find something, please let me know!
