Been using the old sitemap generator for some time with no problems, however the new generator returns error messages from google.
One such sitemap is at www.violations.org.uk/sitemap.xml
Any suggestions or is old sitemap generator still available in the meantime?
(Have more than one site, and Google sends error messages on all new sitemaps.)

The sitemap you have up is not a sitemap file, but rather the project save file. When you are working on a site, you have the option to save out your project so that next time, you won’t have to reenter the exclude and exclude settings. You can do this by clicking on project, save project as and entering a filename. I believe this is what you have.
You want the sitemap and to do that, simply choose sitemap, save sitemap and select your format, such as Google sitemap, XML sitemap, etc.
