I see I need to use:
Anti Spam but do I: 1. Place it only on the main index page? 2. Do I place it in the HEAD portion? Thank you very much for helping us all reduce this despicable spam. TIA. Harry |

Hello Harry,
You can place the antispam on any page you like, the main page will work just fine. The bottom of the page or sidebar is usually where people place this, but it can be anywhere on the page you like (after the
tag). Best regards, Jim. |

I hear you. I have the same problem up here in Canada. However, here is how I respond.
If I happen to answer the phone, as soon as they ask for me, I say, "Can I take a message for him?". Spammers hate leaving messages. They will invariably say "No"! If it is an important call from someone legitimate, they will ask to be called. I also leave it to go to voice mail. Spammers hate this more than option 1. ![]() Finally, if I happen to stumble and reveal to the person that I am the person they are looking for, I tell them I am in the middle of something. Nowadays, the tactic is for them to ask, "When can I call back?". I am happy to give them a time. I tell them, "Call me around 11 AM" on Sunday. What they don't know is that I am never home at that time - I am at church! |
