For those of you that have not used this CRM app, it is a Customer Relationship Management program that allows you to track customers and deliver a warm response when they arrive. For example, you have thousands of clients and can’t possibly remember all their information right? But, the customer expects this and the only way to achieve it is by using CRM.
With this application, you could place the customer on hold (Hi Ken, good to hear from you! Can I put you on hold for a second and finish up this other call, it will only be a minute? Then, jump into the database, check your notes, cross-reference their purchase information, number of visits, loyalty, etc. Jump back on the phone and now you are prepared! The customer now feels they are important and impressed that you remembered their details (unless they called yesterday
This web based CRM package is writing in ASP and runs on any Windows Machine (ok, almost any – 98, ME, etc would not work, XP, NT, VISTA, etc). The cool thing about this is that because it runs on ASP, it can be set up on any system in the office and every other computer in the office can access the application! No need to install client software on each PC, just fire up your browser and away you go!
Probably the best part about this Web Based CRM application is that it is 100% free – it’s open source and all that I ask in return is that should you make it better, please send to new code to me so that I may share it with others. If you use it, all you need to do is tell others about it by providing a link back to crm-web-based.com.
The CRM application is password protected. The password to open it the url of the website, so in this case, it would be www.crm-web-based.com
