Default PHP version: does JS go after each google ad?

I have installed the php version of the script, since my sites are on a linux server, not windows.

1. Does the js need to go underneath each google ad on a page (up to 3)?

2. Will it work if I just put the scripts on a single site and refer to the js by src="http://www.mydomain.com/scriptname.js"?

3. If answer to 2 is yes, do I need to change the url in the js to the full url of the php script, or will the relative url work?

Default Adsense tracking script

Google has changed it's format on their site and I have yet to adjust the adsense tracking script to account for those changes, so it will not work no matter where you place it.

It's on my list of things to do, but not high up there right now.

Best regards,

Jim.
